2025 HEALeR Symposium will explore the ethical use of evidence to improve care in learning health systems

Indiana University School of Medicine invites you to register for the 2nd Biennial HEALeR Symposium, “Evidence in Action: Advancing Ethical Implementation Science in Learning Health Systems,” taking place on November 6 at the NCAA Hall of Champions and Conference Center (700 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, 46204).

Building on the success of the inaugural 2023 symposium, this free event will explore real-world challenges and opportunities of ethically using evidence to improve care and highlight how learning health systems can responsibly bridge research and practice while continuously improving delivery and decision-making.

The 2025 Biennial HEALeR Symposium is hosted by the HEALeR Collaborative, in partnership with the IU School of Medicine, IU Health, the Indiana CTSI, the Regenstrief Institute, and the Irsay Institute. Funding for this event was made possible by an IU Research Conference Grant.

Dr. Lisa Cooper and Dr. Ruth Faden.

Including panels led by nationally and internationally recognized experts in health systems, AI, and implementation science: Dennis Murphy, Dr. Shaun Grannis, Dr. Peter EmbĂ­, Dr. Jiang Bian, Dr. Aaron Carroll, Dr. Brownsyne Tucker Edmonds, Dr. Rachel Patzer, and many other distinguished scholars.
