Robert Considine, PhD, has been appointed to serve as director of the Access Technology Program. In this role, he succeeds Jill Reiter, PhD, who retired in March.

Considine is a professor of medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is also associate director of the Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases at the School of Medicine.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to support the continued evolution of the Indiana CTSI designated cores, which provide cutting-edge services for investigators across the state,” Considine said. “One goal is to increase the visibility of the cores to attract investigators from outside of the Indiana CTSI member institutions to use our core services.”

Considine was recently elected as a fellow in the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He was one of thirteen IU School of Medicine faculty members who received this honor.
