The Indiana CTSI and the Indiana State Department of Health have formed a partnership to improve health in Indiana. This alliance unites the state’s health coalition work with that of the Indiana CTSI. Collectively, we plan to expand community health partnerships across the state.

The state health coalitions include; the Indiana Healthy Weight Initiative (IHWI), the Cardiovascular and Diabetes Coalition of Indiana (CADI) the Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition (INJAC) and the Cancer Coalition. The coalitions are composed of residents and stakeholders across Indiana who seek to improve one or more aspects of health. This initiative is done in strong partnership with Purdue Extension which is involved in more than 60 health coalitions across the state and has educators in all 92 Indiana counties.

If you would like more information on the state health coalitions or would like to join us, please contact Dairo Baez.
