The Monon Collaborative is an initiative created by the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute.
Named for the connection of diverse communities by the state’s Monon railway, the Collaborative, connects a wide variety of community organizations to address health inequities across the state.
The Monon Collaborative will apply data and scientific expertise to develop and implement solutions for helping Indiana become a healthier state.
The Monon Collaborative is:
WISE Indiana (Wellbeing Informed by Science and Evidence in Indiana) – a partnership between the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute’s Monon Collaborative and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration to engage Indiana’s nationally-recognized academic experts to evaluate and inform Indiana practices, programs and policies. This partnership aligns with and furthers the visions of both organizations by facilitating timely, high-quality evidence-informed research, evaluation and analysis to the benefit of all Hoosiers.

Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) Collaboration Network – A community-based working group focused on advancing coordination and collaboration of social services and resources to achieve better economic, educational, and health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
