WHY CIRCUIT WORKOUTS?

Circuits are a great way to stay active while at home. They do not require any special equipment and are easy to modify to your fitness level!

1.CHOOSE 3-4 CARDIO EXERCISES

  • Jumping jacks
  • Jumping ropes
  • Jogging or marching in place
  • Stair-climbing or step-ups
  • High knees
  • Mountain climbers
  • Star jumps
  • Burpees

Do your chosen exercises for 30 seconds.

2.CHOOSE 3-4 STRENGTH EXERCISES

  • Plank and side plank
  • Pushups
  • Sit-ups or crunches
  • Hip lift or bridge position
  • Tricep dips on a chair
  • Lunges
  • Squats or chair position
  • Wall sits

Do your chosen exercises for 3 minutes.

3.REPEAT YOUR CIRCUIT

Repeat using the exercises you previously chose. Aim to repeat your circuit 2-3 times!

4.COOL DOWN

If your circuit is too difficult, you can repeat the circuit fewer times. If your circuit is too easy, try increasing your cardio to one minute, or repeat the circuit more times!
