hands washing with soap in sinkAs the world continues to maneuver the COVID-19 pandemic, and we all remain diligent in our efforts to protect ourselves from contraction, handwashing remains one of the top measures taken to ensure we are all “doing our part.” Constant handwashing can make keeping skin hydrated quite difficult. Cracks in the skin can make it easier for bacteria and other germs to get inside your body. Follow some of these easy tips to keep your hands hydrated, protected, and crack free!

1. Apply a hand cream or ointment immediately after handwashing will keep your skin hydrated.
2. Dry your hands with a clean towel but leave some water on them.
3. Allow hand sanitizer to dry. Then apply moisturizer.
