The Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) is the academic counterpart to the Big Ten Conference. It was initially known as the Committee on Institutional Cooperation.
Member universities of the BTAA include: Rutgers University, University of Illinois, Indiana University, University of Iowa, University of Maryland, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University and University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In 2016, the Inaugural Big Ten Academic Alliance for Lipids Conference was held at Rutgers University.
The 2nd Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) – Lipids Symposium will be held at Purdue University on February 16, 2018. The goal of the symposium is to bring together the lipid research community from across the BTAA to discuss the state of science in the role of lipids across disciplines.
In addition to featured presentations representing faculty from many of the BTAA schools, there will also be a poster session of research presented by scientists including students and postdocs from across the BTAA.
This is an open invitation to those interested in the meeting topic, you do not have to be associated with a university that is member of the BTAA to attend the meeting.
Registration for Attendance
Registration to attend the meeting onsite is $15/participant and includes lunch and coffee breaks.
