Dementia Epidemic? The State of Dementia in Indiana

Presented by Ande Williams, MS; Amber Cadick, Ph.D., HSPP; Robert Ehresman, MD

With the silver tsunami fast approaching the United States and headed inland, rural America appears to be understaffed to care for the growing older adult population. This talk will  discuss practical ways primary care providers can start tough conversations about and assess for the memory and cognitive functioning of their older patients. The presenters will cover treatment options for dementia and other interventions to improve primary care providers interactions with older adults with dementia.
