SUMMARY:Designing\, Selecting\, and Evaluating Implementation Strategies
DESCRIPTION:Designing\, Selecting\, and Evaluating Implementation Strategies \nAn in-person implementation research methods workshop featuring Dr. Byron Powell\, leading expert in designing\, tailoring\, and evaluating strategies to implement evidence-based interventions in health and social services. Skillful translation of research findings into actionable and effective implementation strategies is critical to improving adoption and sustaining the delivery of evidence-based practices. Dr. Powell’s research focuses on strengthening organizational and system capacity to implement evidence-based practices by advancing widely used frameworks\, methods\, measures\, and reporting standards for rigorous implementation research. \nIn this workshop\, Dr. Powell offers implementation scientists practical\, hands-on guidance on designing\, selecting\, and evaluating implementation strategies — a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the field’s most influential voices. \nWorkshop Schedule:\n12:30-1:00pm   IS Researchers Networking Lunch\n1:00-3:00pm     Designing\, Selecting\, & Evaluating Implementation Strategies \nThis annual implementation research methods workshop is co-hosted by Matthew C. Aalsma\, PhD\, MA\, Professor of Pediatrics\, Division Chief\, Children’s Health Services Research\, Indiana University School of Medicine and David A. Haggstrom\, MD\, MAS\, Associate Professor of Medicine\, Indiana University School of Medicine\, Director\, The William M. Tierney Center for Health Services Research\, Regenstrief Institute. \nRegistration is now open and limited to 100 attendees.
