How is your child’s diet affecting their mental health?

Did you know that there is a direct correlation between what you eat and your mental health? It’s true!

Research has shown a connection between an unhealthy diet and depression in adults. Furthermore, the Tisch Center for Food, Education, and Policy recently surveyed research regarding the same connection between “food and mood” to be found in children and adolescents. The survey found sufficient evidence to believe that a child’s diet not only implicates their growth but also their mental health and overall brain function.
