Teens quit vapingThe Indiana University School of Medicine team, in partnership with the Indiana State Department of Health, invites you to participate in the new Indiana Teen Vaping TeleECHO Clinic to learn more about the management of vaping/e-cigarette use and related conditions in adolescents.

WHEN IS IT? This series will be held weekly on Mondays, 8:00 – 9:30am EST, from August 3 through November 2.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE? The goal of this FREE series is provide support and promote increased clinical competence in treating adolescents who use e-cigarettes and other vaping devices so that patients across the state can receive the treatment they need in their home communities.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? The series is open to all clinicians, healthcare workers, recovery coaches, or other youth-serving professionals in the state of Indiana.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? This series is offered FREE OF CHARGE thanks to generous support from ISDH.

HOW DOES IT WORK? Using Zoom videoconferencing technology, Indiana Teen Vaping ECHO community participants in a virtual learning network with a multidisciplinary team of specialists from behavioral health, adolescent medicine, social work, pharmacy, pulmonology, cardiothoracic surgery, tobacco cessation, education, law and public health. In each 90-min session, the panel and other participants will provide mentorship and share their expertise via brief lectures and discussion of 1-2 deidentified patient cases submitted by participants. WHAT ABOUT CME/CE? Participants will receive FREE CME/CE credits for each session attended. Sessions have been approved for:

  • Physician – AMA PRA Category
  • Nursing – ANCC credit
  • Social Work – IPLA credit
