Meet the creative team behind Indiana CTSI communications

Have you ever wondered about the bylines on the news stories you read in Insights, the Indiana CTSI’s monthly newsletter? Have you admired our graphic designs at the Annual Meeting, or seen them in a presentation, and asked who made them? Or perhaps you’ve seen a video in the Behind the Coat series on Instagram and thought, “How does All IN for Health produce these great videos?!”

The answer is that there is a small but mighty crew of “creatives” behind all these things (and more!). It’s the Indiana CTSI communications team!

Hannah Calkins, who is associate director of communications, and Dustin Lynch, who is associate director of visual communications, drive the development and execution of communication strategies for the Indiana CTSI. They are in charge of telling the story of the Indiana CTSI to wide-ranging audiences across diverse formats and media. Jess West, graphic designer, collaborates with Dustin on design concepts, creates infographics and promotional materials, and recently picked up the camera as unofficial staff photographer. Robyn Hawn, who calls herself “the Swiss army knife of the comms team,” is a communications generalist whose duties include managing website content, writing news stories, and executing email campaigns.

Lynsey Delp is the creative director for All IN for Health. An expert in digital marketing, social media strategy, and copywriting, Lynsey leads the development and execution of stories and campaigns for All IN that inform Hoosiers about research and inspire them to get involved. Communications specialist Bonnie Marcelo manages social media for All IN, and is also a graphic designer. Fatma Niang is a clinical research coordinator who, among other things, writes and edits the All IN newsletter, supports ad management, and hosts Behind the Coat.

Together, this creative team brings the Indiana CTSI’s mission to life by translating complex research into stories, visuals, and campaigns that inform, inspire, and connect audiences across Indiana and beyond.
