Access Technology Program

The Access Technology Program (ATP) connects investigators to novel technologies and facilitates access to more than 50 Indiana CTSI Service Cores across the four Indiana CTSI partner campuses.

Connect to Cores

Indiana CTSI Designated Service Cores are facilities that provide a needed service to investigators from more than one department. This enables investigators to conduct their funded individual research projects more efficiently and effectively.

ATP Designated Cores Tools

The Indiana CTSI provides FULL LICENSE access to MetaCore from Cortellis to all Indiana CTSI Investigators.

MetaCore is a pathway analysis suite used to analyze molecular pathways and accelerate discovery research. Rapidly generate and validate hypotheses for novel biomarkers, targets and mechanisms of action using 100% manually curated biological pathway data from peer-reviewed literature. MetaCore helps you conduct sophisticated, integrated pathway and network analysis of muti-omics data across previous research. Compare you data with similar research to determine which targets and drugs will have the best chance of success.

Cost is $70/hr and is billed quarterly. We require that a university account number be provided up front to cover the usage charge. Notre Dame will pay usage fees for Notre Dame investigators.

The Indiana CTSI provides access to the QIAGEN Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) Tool

The Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) Tool provides software and a curated database for the analysis of complex ‘omics data. IPA algorithms, combined with rich content, provide unique advanced analysis capabilities to help you identify the most significant pathways, whether they are activated or inhibited, and discover potential novel regulatory networks and casual relationships associated with your experimental data.

The CTSI multi-user license renews annually on July 1 and includes:

  • Analysis Match and Land Explorer features
  • 2 concurrent users
  • Pricing
    • Each lab/group will be charged an hourly rate for their IPA usage, pro-rated by the minute.
    • The starting rate is $100/hr and will decrease after reaching specified usage levels.
    • For example, every lab/group will pay $100 per hour for the first 25 hours of usage, then they will pay $90/hr for the next 25 hours (up to 50 hours), $80/hr for usage between 50 and 75 hours, $70/hour for usage between 75 and 100 hours, etc.
    • Usage will be quarterly.
  • Each lab may request access for multiple users on their sublicense. Individuals should use their own login as Qiagen limits the number of computers a single username can be used on.
