The global number of confirmed cases as of March 15, 2020, was 156,400, with an overall fatality rate of 3.7%. This study summarized the fatality rate in Korea from February 19, when the first death occurred to March 10, 2020. The overall case fatality rate of COVID-19 in Korea was 0.7% as of then. This may be due to differences in case identification, treatment, or the population.
