The Indiana CTSI’s Implementation Science program to present “Designing, Selecting, and Evaluating Implementation Strategies” workshop on October 15

The Implementation Science program at the Indiana CTSI will host “Designing, Selecting, and Evaluating Implementation Strategies” on October 15. This in-person workshop will take place at the Regenstrief Institute’s Social Hub, located on the first floor of their offices at 1101 W 10th Street in Indianapolis.

Matthew C. Aalsma, PhD, MA, director of the Indiana CTSI’s Implementation Science program, will lead the workshop with Byron Powell, PhD, Associate Dean for Research and Associate Professor for the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.

“We are particularly excited to have Byron Powell for our fourth annual implementation science training seminar,” said Aalsma. “He is internationally renowned in developing and assessing how best to implement evidence-based treatments in a variety of settings.”

Powell co-directs WashU’s Center for Mental Health Services Research and Dissemination and Implementation Science Innovation Research Network. He is also the co-editor-in-chief of Implementation Research and Practice and a past president of the Society for Implementation Research Collaboration.

In this workshop, Powell will offer practical, hands-on guidance on designing, selecting, and evaluating implementation strategies.

Registration is now open and limited to 100 attendees. The event will begin at 12:30 p.m. EST with an IS Researchers Networking Lunch, with the presentation beginning promptly at 1:00 p.m. EST.
