Due to the rapidly evolving novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, and with the health and safety of our guests in mind, the Third Biennial Conference of the Latinx Community-University Research Coalition of Indiana scheduled for April 24 has been postponed.
———————————————————————————————————-
The objective of the Third Biennial Conference of the Latinx Community-University Research Coalition of Indiana is to bring together community organizations and academic partners that share the mission to increase the quality of life and well-being of Latino families in Indiana, and the vision of a healthy and dynamic Latino community. The conference will provide opportunities for discussing, networking, collaborating and advancing future research, programming and advocacy.
This year’s theme, “Possibilities for our Future,” is about what we are all doing to address inequity in communities. The event will take place at the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana building, 7201 Girl Scout Lane, Indianapolis, IN 46214.
There will be data presentations, an expert panel discussion, an exciting keynote address, and the opportunity to dialogue with like-minded others. Attendees can also enjoy folk dance performances and a short theatre skit.
The event is free and includes breakfast and lunch. You can RSVP here.
The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute has supported all three of the Latinx Community-University Research Coalition of Indiana conferences.
