Center for Health Innovation and Implementation Science

The Center for Health Innovation & Implementation Science (CHIIS) was founded in 2013 through a collaborative effort between Indiana CTSI and Indiana University School of Medicine. Our mission is to provide education and engagement services to help healthcare delivery systems meet the quadruple aim: better care, improved outcomes, at lower costs, with enhanced clinical experiences. CHIIS is uniquely positioned to accomplish this mission by leveraging Agile Implementation—the modern-day formula for healthcare quality improvement.

Mission

CHIIS’s mission is to build a tightly linked network of certified AI Change Agents who are united in their passion to make a profound and lasting difference for their practice and the patients they serve. We aim to make IU School of Medicine the mecca for Agile Implementation.

Our vision is to transform healthcare for the better, for all, right now. A system focused on the quadruple aim: better care and improved outcomes at lower costs with enhanced patient and clinician experiences.
