The Monon Collaborative is an initiative created by the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute.
Named for the connection of diverse communities by the state’s Monon railway, the Collaborative, connects a wide variety of community organizations to address health inequities across the state.
The Monon Collaborative will apply data and scientific expertise to develop and implement solutions for helping Indiana become a healthier state.
The Monon Collaborative is:
Partnering with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) to access academic experts who will co-develop projects for the evaluation of FSSA programs and services (contract pending);
Listening and understanding the most pressing health issues in the community and working together to design and deliver solutions through Community Impact Hubs [Learn more about Community Impact Hubs]; and
Collaborating with healthcare and community-based organizations to establish a sustainable platform that ensures Indiana residents have easily accessible and coordinated resources to meet their health needs.
