Clinical studies can be difficult to understand, but the All IN for Health team is trying to spread the word about the importance of health research through a new social media campaign.
Each week for the next couple months, the team will be breaking down one of eight frequently asked questions about health research and clinical studies, including:
- Who can participate in health research?
- Could I be paid to participate in research?
- Why should I participate in health research or a clinical study?
These posts will be featured on the All IN for Health Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages, where people can like, comment and share the messages.
“There has never been a more critical time to help people understand the importance of health research,” said Jessica Hall, who is the Program Director for All IN for Health and Director of Marketing and Digital Engagement for the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI). “During this COVID-19 pandemic, all eyes are on the scientific community. Not only do we want to encourage people to participate in health research, including clinical studies, but we also want to share the value of the research being done, whether for COVID-19 or any other health issue.”
