Trailblazer PosterIt’s time to celebrate!

On April 5 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 14 community-university project teams will present their CHeP-funded work at the Indianapolis Central Library. These teams received CHeP’s Trailblazer Award in the fall of 2015, and have been hard at work across Indiana.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate their partnership experiences, research journeys, and exciting outcomes. Project topics include obesity, infant mortality, sickle cell disease, diabetes, an adverse drug reaction screener, quality of life in older adults, and yoga for those with brain injuries.

Please email us to RSVP or to learn more about the CHeP Trailblazer award. Space is limited, reserve your spot today.

CHeP’s Trailblazer Award is a pilot funding opportunity for community-engaged research projects proposed by community-university partners. All awardees meet quarterly to provide each other support and to create a network as trailblazers in this important field. Keep an eye on your email for the 2017 CHeP Trailblazer Award request for applications later this month.
