The Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition is hosting two meetings in August to finalize the Indiana Asthma State Plan
[Aug 12 | Aug 27]
Coalitions build trust and consensus between people and organizations that have similar responsibilities and concerns within a community. They can help achieve population-level policy changes by focusing on multiple strategies with sufficient scale and scope. With a comprehensive action plan, a coalition can engage people, ideas, and resources across sectors and settings to create a synergy of health and prevention efforts that will have a lasting effect on people’s health. The Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition (InJAC) was created in 2003 to develop and advocate for policies, practices and system changes that address long term results, behavior changes and sustainability of asthma programming. While the coalition has gone through many leadership and strategic planning directions, we are gaining back our momentum and our first major contribution to bring the coalition back on its feet will be to finalize the Indiana Asthma State Plan. Your expertise, knowledge, and experiences are invaluable so I hope you will join us in taking on asthma in Indiana! Learn more and register here.
