The Healthy Schools Action Team has created a virtual teaching resource guide related to the 10 focus areas of the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child Model.  This model is the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) framework for addressing health in schools.  It is student-centered and emphasizes the role of the community in supporting the school, the connections between health and academic achievement and the importance of evidence-based school policies and practices.
