June 9, 2022

The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) has announced that Tammy Sajdyk, PhD, has accepted the role of navigator for IU School of Medicine and IUPUI. Indiana CTSI navigators help connect researchers from their campus with resources and other researchers across the state. Sajdyk also serves as the Associate Director of the Translational Research Development Program, which includes the Project Development Teams (PDTs).

“As navigator, my role is to oversee internal grants and pilot funding mechanisms for the Indiana CTSI,” said Sajdyk, who also serves as an associate professor of clinical pediatrics at IU School of Medicine. “I can be contacted about questions regarding funding opportunities for research, as well as accessing needed resources or finding collaborators to enhance or support research.”

Sajdyk has been involved with the Indiana CTSI since its launch in 2008 in various positions. She is also the research director for Karuna Precision Wellness Center, an Indianapolis-based health and wellness facility for cancer survivors.
