Researchers and the public are invited to attend the annual Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) retreat at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. The event will take place at Notre Dame’s McCourtney Hall on Friday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. EDT.
“The upcoming Indiana CTSI retreat offers an important opportunity for researchers across the state to come together and discuss their newest, most innovative ideas for supporting translational biomedical research,” said Richard Taylor, deputy director of the Indiana CTSI at Notre Dame and professor of chemistry and biochemistry. “The Indiana CTSI was recently awarded $33 million for the next five-year grant period and the retreat will be an excellent forum for researchers to learn about what the program has to offer.
At the retreat, researchers will present on a variety of topics including an overview of CTSI programs, impacting global health, translational drug discovery, promoting collaborations and more. Additionally, attendees will be able to participate in poster presentations and attend panel discussions with drug discovery leaders with university and industry backgrounds.
This event is open to the public. All attendees who plan to present a poster are asked to register by October 12. Event registration will close on October 19.
