The Indiana CTSI provides access to the QIAGEN Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) Tool. The Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) Tool provides software and a curated database for the analysis of various large omics data sets which includes proteomics, metabolomics and transcriptional analysis by microarrays or Next Gen RNA sequencing including both mRNAs and miRNAs.
Currently we offer a free two week trial period to QIAGEN IPA to all Indiana CTSI Investigators. If you are interested in continuing to use this tool after the two week trial period, you will be charged for a sub-license pro-rated on the number of months left in the contract.
You may also renew for the July 1, 2017-June 30, 2018 license period. You will be contacted with the current pricing based on the number of users.
- Includes 4 concurrent users
- costs less than $2800
- extends to June 30, 2017
After June 30, 2017, the Indiana CTSI will evaluate usage and negotiate a new license.
More information about IPA Software:
This software performs pathway analysis, combined miRNA and mRNA analysis, and provides toxicogenomic information. The upstream analysis identifies probable activators based on the data submitted. The Advance Analytics does causal network analysis to build a more complete regulatory picture from gene expression data. With RNA seq data, IPA can help identify different isoforms for expressed genes.
The software can be downloaded to any computer running MS windows versions 7, 8, 10 and XP, Mac OS 10.11, 10.10, 10.9 or via Internet browsers, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari. For IPA, the number crunching and database searches take place using Qiagen’s computing facility, which does not require a large machine on the user end.
