bright blue eyeThere are currently 3 million people in the United States living with glaucoma. Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness. Having diabetes doubles your odds of developing glaucoma. Protect your eyes and follow the following steps to spread awareness.

1) Talk to friends and family about glaucoma and share with them your risk factors.
2) Refer friends to the glaucoma website to increase their understanding and awareness of the condition.
3) Request a free educational booklet to be sent to you or a friend.
4) Get involved in your community through information sessions, fundraisers, group discussions, hosting expert speakers and more!
