Members from one of the Connections in Health coalitions, the Cardiovascular and Diabetes Coalition of Indiana (CADI), attended the Red Dress Dash on Tuesday, February 4. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke, as well as to celebrate American Heart Month and the Go Red for Women movement.
Those that attended wore red and completed a lap around Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. Participants were also encouraged to engage in activities and interact with vendor booths featuring information about health and wellness.
