The Indiana CTSI Translational Informatics Program (TIP) provides comprehensive, integrated services to support the information management and analysis needs of translational research, including outreach and training goals.
The Translational Informatics Program (TIP) provides access to data and informatics resources, including developing software, databases and support systems that refine or integrate data. We provide access to medical records, biospecimen, and biomarker data, and support data analytics services, data management tools, analytical tools, and access to computational and data storage resources. The TIP operates in close partnership with the Regenstrief Institute
Services include:
- Web-based portals and services that support trusted access to all Indiana CTSI services as well as outreach to the various communities served by Indiana CTSI.
- Support for enterprise clinical research systems for clinical trials (in partnership with the Clinical Trials Office), biobanking, and registry management.
- Data Management solutions such as REDCap for secure collection and management of clinical research and research administration.
- Secure access, for allowable purposes, to integrated, longitudinal, population-based patient data and health information in order to support patient care, research, quality improvement and public health through the Regenstrief Data Core, and using tools such as I2B2 for prospective cohort identification.
