The 2022 fall Regional Roadshow will feature Connections IN Health community partners from Vermillion County and their work to improve health. Also joining us will be Monica Kramer McConkey, Rural Mental Health Specialist from Eyes on Horizon Consulting. Monica will present: Exploring the Impact of Trauma and Chronic Stress on Chronic Disease; The connection between trauma, stress and chronic disease is complicated and multi-faceted. Knowing and understanding the connection can help improve treatment options and encourage a holistic, mind-body perspective.
