The Connections IN Health County Engagement Team, including Purdue Extension Madison County Educator and Community Wellness Coordinator, Purdue University I-HOPE and Madison County community members, heard from people who live, work and play in Madison County about successes and challenges related to health. Join us to hear a summary of what was learned. Local groups and project leaders will share what they are doing to help improve the health of Madison County residents and how you can get involved.

This event will be held in person at the Anderson Library with a virtual option via zoom.

Monica will present: Exploring the Impact of Trauma and Chronic Stress on Chronic Disease; The connection between trauma, stress and chronic disease is complicated and multi-faceted. Knowing and understanding the connection can help improve treatment options and encourage a holistic, mind-body perspective.
