About the Molecular Therapeutics Program
The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute’s (CTSI) Molecular Therapeutics Program utilizes the Indiana Drug Discovery Alliance, a statewide drug discovery consortium, to promote and support promising early stage drug discovery research and to facilitate collaborative translational research partnerships.
How we can help
The Molecular Therapeutics Program supports researchers by acting as a clearing house for drug discovery and developmental resources available throughout Indiana and the Midwest. The program facilitates compound library sharing and collaborative, translational research among scientists and researchers.
Experts in the Molecular Therapeutics Program can help researchers identify complementary, supporting and external partnerships for their work, as well as funding opportunities for early stage drug discovery projects that are not traditionally covered by other Indiana CTSI grants.
The Molecular Therapeutics Program also supports drug development services to promote the use of contract research organizations that offer absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME)-toxicology studies for lead compounds. Contract research organization (CRO) partnerships include Covance Inc., Q2 solutions, Albany Molecular Research Inc., CalChem Synthesis, Bio reliance, and Eurofins.
